LEiO is building a compliance workflow platform for Swiss independent asset managers. It drafts the recurring work, such as periodic review memos, UBO dossiers and risk analyses. The person accountable under your licence reviews and signs every one.

Why now
The revised AMLA and the Transparency Act are in force. Beneficial ownership now needs documented evidence, not a signed form, and every existing client file is measured against the new standard.
Revised AMLA and Transparency Act in force
portfolio managers left rather than apply for a FINMA licence after 2020
change requests filed by licensed institutions every year
further fall in firm numbers projected for 2026–2027

How it works
Licensed EAMs produce bank-grade evidence with partnership-sized teams. LEiO is designed to take the assembling off senior people while every decision stays with them.
Review memos, UBO dossiers and risk analyses, prepared from your client files and firm data.
Your responsible person reads, questions and edits every draft.
A named approval by the person accountable under your licence.
Every draft, edit and approval logged, and compiled into the audit binder for the period.
That is how Swiss regulation assigns responsibility, and how the platform is built.
First release
The first release is planned for design-partner pilots in early 2027. Its scope will be confirmed by the firms we speak with now.
Finds the gaps in existing files against the new evidence standard, drafts the dossiers and tracks remediation to done.
A risk-based cycle calendar, drafted review memos, sign-off and escalation.
Client and ownership data, supporting documents and ten-year retention in one place.
The period's complete evidence file, compiled for your supervisory organisation's request list.
Later in 2027: risk analysis (MLRA) drafting, directive library, training tracker, change filings, retrocession register and transparency-register reconciliation.
Principles
Commitments the platform is being designed around from the start.
Nothing is filed without a named person's approval.
What the platform wrote and what your person changed, kept for audit.
Client data will stay in Swiss data centres, under FADP-compliant processing terms.
Audit rights, sub-processor list and exit terms built for your FinIA outsourcing duties.
No portfolio system to replace. Integrations follow the pilots.
Your own officer or your external provider can work your files on it. The record stays yours.
Who we are
We are a small partnership of like-minded technologists. LEiO SA is a Swiss company, based in Geneva.
Together we bring hands-on experience across three disciplines: designing and running IT infrastructure, engineering production software, and building agentic AI systems that do real work under human supervision.
LEiO brings those skills together for one purpose: helping Swiss independent asset managers meet a growing regulatory burden without growing their headcount. We are engineers first, so we start by listening to the people who do the work.
Research conversations · autumn 2026
We are speaking with 10 to 12 Swiss EAMs, compliance providers and auditors before we build. Thirty minutes, by Zoom or Teams.
